pho•to•mat•o•poe•ia | ˌfotoˌmatəˈpēə |

noun

the image of a subject associated with what is photographed

Words certainly evoke the imagination, yet it is photography that evokes emotion

A conversation about photography. Let's talk about how photography makes you feel, the emotional aspect of somehow identifying with the story presented in front of you. I believe it is less about the technical aspects of a "good" photograph, rather more about, what story it tells and perhaps why, but more importantly, how it makes you feel.

If you feel compelled to comment, I'd love to hear about your reactions to the photographs. I will attempt to post here on a daily basis, at least that is my goal.

Boy, it’s been a long time since I posted anything. Life has been busy, so I thought I would start out with a photo of something you might see while doing much of nothing, like laying in bed until late morning. Does it work?
