Words certainly evoke the imagination, yet it is photography that evokes emotion. With the idea of experiencing photography, I want to change the conversation from the technical to the emotional side of what makes a good picture. Ultimately, we photograph to record the human condition, and without emotion, it’s just another picture in the sea of a trillion photos.

  1. Dead Bird - What is the deal with boys and dead animals, especially birds? I shot a Cardinal when I was about 8 with a bb gun, it made me feel bad. I did again years later in high school. The second time was the last time as I became aware of what I had done. I no longer kill birds.

  2. Frogs - A boy and his frog. There is another relationship that seems so common among boys at a certain age, sometimes girls, but mostly boys. Is it cultural or universal, seems to me it is universal… I wonder why?
