Local Farms Local Food - Have you ever tasted the veggies picked just moments ago from your own garden or a neighbor’s? That is really the only way have them. Consider going to your local farmer’s market or find a local CSA farm to get your produce, it will change the way you think about food.
A Walk In The Sun - A late afternoon walk is a good way to enjoy the quiet, a friend’s company and the last bit of the day’s light.
Dan Nichols Benefit - This is how our community comes together, to offer support for those in need and to celebrate the life we have.
The Block Party - What ever happen to the good old fashion, American, neighborhood block party? This is one cultural event that has not escaped my little community. All neighborhoods should have one at least once a year.
Triathlon - The combination of speed, strength, endurance and will are a few of the ingredients required to race in a triathlon. It was impressive to watch them race and having fun at the same time. Congrats to all!
Life’s a Beach - Life can be a real beach, but it is how you look at it which determines the quality of it… your life, that is.
Reckless Abandon - Take a dare, give a dare, but do it with care. You only get one shot at it while you are here.
Parties - I now know what it means to throw a good party… People around here call it, “the goat.” (Paundy might have had something to do with it)
The Beach - People, sun, sand and the water makes for a unique mix of beach culture in the Pacific NW.
OLA Days - I love where we live. Children can actually play in the middle of the street. There is a sense of community here.
Wanting Summer - This cold and rain is really making me think about the warm Summers here in Indianola. I just can’t wait and I need it now.
