photomatopoeia

pho•to•mat•o•poe•ia | ˌfotoˌmatəˈpēə |

noun
the image of a subject associated with what is photographed

Words certainly evoke the imagination, yet it is photography that evokes emotion. With the idea of experiencing photography, I want to change the conversation from the technical to the emotional side of what makes a good picture. Ultimately, we photograph to record the human condition, and without emotion, it’s just another picture in the sea of a trillion photos.

  3. Stunt Night - Community talent shows seem to be another rarity in America, they seem to only happen at a camp, for kids (or here). Other than the neighborhood block party, community talent shows are one of the best ways to connect with those who live around you… and they are fun!

  4. The Block Party - What ever happen to the good old fashion, American, neighborhood block party? This is one cultural event that has not escaped my little community. All neighborhoods should have one at least once a year.

  5. Goat Got Your Tongue? - There she goes, on the stage, telling those big stories of hers… all of them true.

  6. Parties - I now know what it means to throw a good party… People around here call it, “the goat.” (Paundy might have had something to do with it)
